It’s Time for Change – April
I COMPLETED MY MINI GOAL !!
So proud of myself… Don’t get me wrong, on Thursday I almost bailed out on the gym session ☹
Reason being, I was held back at work by 15 mins (not much I know), then there was a motorbike accident on the freeway home so the traffic was bumper to bumper and then by the time I reached the gym at 4pm (30 mins later than I should have been there) I had an urgent request from Scott to follow up on some orders we sent out that I was frantically trying to sort out on my laptop in the gym car park!
So, after being delayed by almost an hour I was feeling guilty as I should have been picking up Quinn by now and spending some time with my daughter! But nope I ran upstairs smashed my 45-minute workout and felt good that I pushed myself and didn’t give up!
My workouts last week consisted of the below;
Tuesday – Made myself familiar with the machines and set up my profiles and just did some cardio and light stretches which I needed after having almost 1 year off the gym!
Wednesday – Legs!! (they are still killing me!!)
Thursday – Arms & Chest
So, my 3-day plan was a success
I am using the Body Space App by BodyBuilding.com which I was using last time I was training, and it was funny to see how much I used to lift compared to what I could lift now. I am using it as motivation now to push myself ‘slowly’ to get back to that level of FIT again!
NOW to set my new mini goal for this week… My 7-day pass is up at Anytime Fitness, so do I join up and spend $16 a week and continue my quest to ‘FIT’ again or do I use my FREE PT sessions I won at a local Auction night over the weekend? OF COURSE, I am going with the free option!
Over the weekend I went to a beautiful Auction night held by one of my amazing friends Jess for cancer raising and I won x 3 Personal Training sessions with Connor from Greenzone Fitness in Joondalup. So, I sent him an email and we have booked in x 2 sessions this week and to make up my 3rd day I might just grab a casual pass at Greenzone.
So new Mini goal this next month is;
Tuesday – PT Session with Connor
Wednesday – Casual Pass at Greenzone
Thursday – PT Session with Connor
HOWEVER, I can’t just set the same goal of 3 days training like I did last week, I need to push myself a little more! So, WATER is what I am adding on. I struggle to drink the recommended 2-3 litres of water every day, so I have bought myself x 2 1.5 litre bottles and ensure I finish drinking both by bed time every night.
OK so new Mini Goal set, PT and Water… Can’t wait to tackle the week
Oh, and my current weight is 58.6kg
